About us
Who we are
Systemic Action is a brand new non-profit political action organization dedicated to democratizing the economy in Europe.
We strive for a world in which the economy functions as a democratic system, giving everyone a voice in economic decisions. We do that by raising awareness about systemic economic change, supporting existing and new social movements and running campaigns at an international level, with a focus on political change in Europe.
Systemic Action was found by Lena Hartog and Anuna de Wever, bringing in a decade of campaigning, organizing and training experience in the human rights, migration and climate movement. We work closely together with Thomas Maddens from A Mad Production on the documentary, an award-winning film production house.
Geographical focus
While we are based in the Netherlands and Belgium, our work has a global scope with a particular emphasis on Europe’s role in democratizing the economy. Through our campaigns and partnerships, we aim to create a network of change-makers across borders.
Our Legal Status
